Assignment 3: Implementation plan

I think our groups chosen target group is very good and close to ourselves as we all are students, so creating a platform for a student group of a field was easy and comfortable to do. In my school and classes we also use facebook and whatsapp actively as a way to communicate, some of them are very formal to share information and others are a way to bond with other students and your own class. I think these are very commonly used in many schools as a way to communicate between professionals, students and teachers. 

We chose as our target group to be Dental and dental hygienists students as they work close together so they have a way to communicate easily. I think this is a good idea, in my field of study which is international business we have facebook groups for us and exchange students as it is important for us to network with foreign people to help us understand the international side of business. Facebook and whatsapp are very suitable platforms for this, as they are widely known and used and even exchange students are familiar with them.

With facebook and whatsapp, they both have their own security and privacy issues, but in my opinion as we think of the target group and its purpose, I can imagine there wont be too much confidential material distributed. Of course users must be aware and know how to stay safe but not to worry about it too much.
